How points are worked out
This part of the page will give you a brief description on how the
system works out the points each week.
The maximum amount of points awarded is 42 for each round.
OK so here is the math of it all, in this example we will assume
there is 20 cars per class. Points are broken up for qualifying and the
final finishing place for each class of car, Max of 20 points for
qualifying and a max of 20 points for your finishing place. Yes I know I
said the max is 42 and 20+20=40. There is 2 bonus points up for grabs, 1
of these points if for TQ (Top Qualifier) The TQ is given to the top
qualifier of the class ie who ever has qualified Pole in the A final.
The 2nd extra point is awarded to the winner of the A final. At the
start of this paragraph I said lets assume there is 20 cars in the class
and i said this for a reason, this is how the points are worked out.
When we race we would split the cars up in to an A, B, C Final this is
done just so that we don't have 20 cars on the track at once. The system
then relist the cars back into a list of 20 with the winner of the A
final at the top and the last place car in the bottom final at the
bottom of the list and then award the points from top to bottom top car
gets 20 bottom car gets 1 point. Regardless of how many cars there are
the points will be awarded in the same way e.g. If there was 10 cars
then the max would be 20 and the min would be 11 for qualifying and the
final position.
